Quick Diagnosis

I was thinking today that I am very lucky to have a quick diagnosis. The typical Crohn's diagnosis was from 3-5 years after a person starts exhibiting symptoms. And I have heard plenty of horror stories about doctors misdiagnosing Crohn's as a mental disorder. Very sad. Fortunately, even though my symptoms were pretty mild (compared to other people with IBD's) my doctors believed that there was something wrong, and did all the right tests. I am very appreciative of that. It took me a month and a half of doctors visits to be diagnosed.
